Diana Ross presents the Jackson 5 (1969) - rating: **
Quickly recorded after their success on the TV Show from Diana Ross. Overall not very good. Of course we can hear "I Want You Back".

ABC (1970) - rating: ***
They are getting better with this one

Third Album (1970) - rating: ****
Finally a terrific Jackson 5 album where all songs are suitable as a single.

Jackson 5 Christmas Album (1970) - rating: ***
A nice christmas album to have

Maybe Tomorrow (1971) - rating: **
A very disappointing album. Only the songs released as a single: "Maybe Tomorrow" and "Never Can Say Goodbye" are very good.

Lookin' Trough The Windows (1972) - rating: ****
A recovery after the disappointing "Maybe Tomorrow".

Skywriter (1973) - rating: *****
They wanted a more mature sound and that's and they succeeded.

GIT - Get It Together (1973) - rating: *****
Their disco album that brought them famous and more mature sound. "Too Late To Change The Time" is one of their best songs.

Dancing Machine (1974) - rating: ****
A continuation of the previous album but with less inspiration. They even reused the song "Dancing Machine" due to its succes and decided to use it as the title for this album.

Moving Violation (1975) - rating: **
They wanted to have more freedom like Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye to write their own songs which led to leaving Motown. Motown didn't want to give them that freedom.

Joyful Jukebox Music (compilation) - rating: **
After the Jackson 5 left Motown 2 rarities compilations were released of which this one is the least.

Boogie (compilation) - rating: ****
Best collection of the 2 rarities compilations later released by Motown.
